REAL MONEY TRADING

The use of exchanging in game items, zeny, or services for real currency is strictly prohibited.  Buying or selling game content for money is referred to as Real Money Trading, and will result in a permanent account ban.
Advertising RMT services in game and on other websites or forums is not permitted. If your account is participating in RMT, by buying, selling or advertising, your account can be permanently banned without a warning issued to you. This is a zero tolerance offence.

BOTTING & MACRO USE

The use of 3rd Party Programs is strictly prohibited. 3rd Party Programs are programs that control your character without the need for player action, such as automatically killing mobs and selling items, or farming specific nodes. Using Third Party Programs is a serious break of the Terms of Use. Players found to be using 3rd Party Programs are subject to permanent bans.

Macros can be bound to specific keys on gaming mice, controllers and keyboards, and allow for a chain of actions to occur by hitting a single button. The use of macro keys is allowed; as long as the player is actually present activating the macro. You may not use a 3rd party program to activate these commands.

A player must pass any third party program test performed by a GM. Players must be present at their computer when any actions are being performed by their characters, particularly with regards to (but in no way limited to) obtaining items, adding buffs to other players, or attacking mobs.

Any time a GM contacts you in game and performs a test of this kind, you are required to respond. Refraining from responding to any question asked, or replying with an automated response, is regarded as failing third party program testing and will result in a ban.

Please be aware that should sufficient evidence by another player be provided, you may also be suspended.

BUGS & EXPLOIT ABUSE

The exploiting of bugs in game may lead to an account suspension. Repeated or serious violations may result in a permanent ban.

REPORTING SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOR

If you should see someone displaying suspicious or bot like activity, report them to the GM Team in a ticket using the following format:

Attempt to contact the player through all means possible, Normal/Public/Private chats as players may have one or more of these chats closed.

Be visible to the player you are reporting while testing their behavior. This ensures that even if they have all chats closed they are aware of your presence and should react in some way.

Other means of testing include opening trade, requesting a duel, and counting down so the player knows that you will be reporting them, giving them ample time to respond.

Screenshot or take video of the activity. A video of sufficient length to show the actions being taken by the suspicious player, as well as all the tests done is the most effective way to report a violation. This video must be unedited as well, and must display the entire Ro2 screen.

If you are unable to film the activity, please provide screenshots and as much information about the player and location as possible.

Submit your ticket using 'Bot Report' in the Subject. This will insure the report is added to a special high priority category for review.

Please know that this evidence will be reviewed and if sufficient, players can and will be suspended.  As player account information is confidential, you will not be notified of the actions taken by staff against another player for rule violation.
